Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Sayspoke is a social app where people share personal Moments with mutual Adds, publish public Finds through Finds creator profiles, participate in Communities, and back visible content with specific Backing Tags instead of generic likes.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Sayspoke collects, how we use it, how we protect it, and what choices you have.
Sayspoke is currently in open beta. Access is open to eligible users, but features, privacy controls, analytics, safety tools, and data practices may change as the product develops. When we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.

2. Information you give us
We collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, authentication method, and information associated with Google sign-in if you use Google login
- Age-eligibility information, such as the date of birth you enter during signup to confirm that you are old enough to use Sayspoke
- Normal profile information, such as your display name, username, profile picture, bio, location text, privacy settings, message settings, Add-request settings, and other profile details
- Finds creator profile information, such as a creator handle, creator display name, creator profile photo, description, focus, links, business information, and local-discovery details
- Content you submit, such as Moments, Finds, Community posts, captions, descriptions, photos, videos, Backing Tags, Notes, replies, and saved content
- Media you upload, such as photos, videos, thumbnails, profile images, creator avatars, and related file metadata
- Communications you send to us, such as reports, appeals, safety messages, support requests, feedback, and other correspondence
- Account-lifecycle requests, such as account pausing, deletion, restoration, or support requests
- Payment, tax, or payout information if Sayspoke offers creator monetization and you choose to participate
Sayspoke does not store your full date of birth after using it to confirm signup eligibility. We may store limited verification facts, such as:
- When age eligibility was checked
- The minimum age confirmed
- The verification method used
- Whether you were under 18 at signup
Do not submit private, sensitive, confidential, or legally restricted information unless you are comfortable providing it to Sayspoke and, where applicable, sharing it under the selected content or Community rules.
3. Information created when you use Sayspoke
When you use Sayspoke, we may collect or generate information such as:
- Content you create, edit, remove, save, view, or interact with
- Backing Tags you give or receive
- Notes, replies, reactions to Notes or replies, and other engagement activity
- Add requests, mutual Add connections, creator follows, Community memberships, and related relationship activity
- Find views, watch activity, completion activity, saves, shares, Backings, and other product signals
- Discovery and recommendation signals, such as which public Finds you view, watch, save, back, follow, skip, or report
- Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, log, diagnostic, security, and performance information
- Pseudonymous or aggregated operational signals used to understand whether the service is active and functioning
- Preferences, such as message sound settings, feed video settings, desktop layout settings, cookie choices, and other interface preferences
- Open-beta signup state, age-eligibility status, login status, email-verification status, and account status
- Moderation, trust, safety, reporting, administrative, and abuse-prevention records
- Advertising and monetization information associated with eligible public Find surfaces, such as sponsored-placement delivery, Find impressions, video-ad progress, invalid activity, and creator revenue calculations
We use these signals to operate Sayspoke, provide personal Moment feeds, personalize public Find discovery, manage creator subscriptions, support Communities, prevent abuse, debug issues, measure performance, and understand whether Sayspoke is working.
Personal Moments are not used as public Find-discovery candidates or advertising inventory.
4. Personal profiles, Finds creator profiles, and Communities
Sayspoke has distinct personal, public creator, and Community surfaces.
Normal Sayspoke profiles and Adds
A normal Sayspoke profile represents a person’s personal identity.
An Add is an approved, mutual connection between two normal Sayspoke profiles. Sending an Add request does not create a connection. When an Add request is approved, both profiles become connected.
Users may disable incoming Add requests. Blocking or removing an Add may end or override the connection.
Add relationships and Finds creator follows are separate systems. Adding someone does not automatically follow their Finds creator profile, and following a Finds creator profile does not create an Add or expose personal Moments.
Moments
Outside Communities, Moments are personal posts visible only to:
- The person who posted the Moment
- People who are currently mutual Adds with that person
Personal Moments are not publicly discoverable. They do not appear in public Find discovery, search-engine sitemaps, logged-out pages, public recommendations, public creator feeds, or advertising inventory.
Removing an Add or blocking a person may remove their future access to personal Moments. This cannot prevent someone who previously had access from retaining a screenshot, copy, or other record.
Finds and Finds creator profiles
A Finds creator profile is a separate public publishing identity.
Following a Finds creator profile is a one-way subscription to that creator’s public Finds. It does not create a personal Add relationship.
Global Finds are public creator posts and may appear in:
- Public Finds feeds
- Personalized discovery
- Creator-following feeds
- Local discovery
- Search and Backing Tag collections
- Public Finds creator profiles
- Public sharing previews
- Search-engine results
- Sponsored or monetized Find surfaces
A creator’s normal profile information, personal Add relationships, and personal Moments are not automatically included on the creator profile.
Communities
Communities are the only Sayspoke surface where Moments and Finds may appear together for people who are not mutual Adds.
Community content is governed by the Community’s visibility, membership, posting, approval, and moderation rules.
A Moment posted in a Community does not become a globally discoverable personal Moment.
A Find posted specifically in a Community does not automatically enter global Find discovery unless Sayspoke provides and the creator uses a separate global-publication action.
Public Communities may be visible to non-members where the Community’s rules allow it. Private or membership-restricted Communities are visible only as permitted by their access rules.
Moments do not become advertising inventory merely because they appear in a Community that also contains Finds.
5. Visible information and interactions
Depending on the feature, relationship, privacy setting, and Community rules, other people may see information such as:
- Normal profile details that your settings allow them to see
- Whether an Add request is pending, accepted, declined, removed, or unavailable where the relevant interface displays that status
- Personal Moments when the viewer is a mutual Add
- Public Finds and Finds creator profiles
- Public creator-follower counts or relationships where the feature displays them
- Community content that the Community permits the viewer to access
- Backing Tags, Notes, replies, saves, and other engagement information where the relevant feature makes them visible
- Public Find performance information, sponsorship disclosures, or creator information
Some information may remain stored after you change a setting or remove content, including where the information:
- Was already viewed or copied by another person
- Was included in a report, appeal, or safety investigation
- Is contained in system logs or backups
- Is needed to prevent fraud, abuse, or policy evasion
- Must be preserved for legal, security, financial, or operational reasons
6. Private messages
Sayspoke private messages are designed to use client-side encryption for message text.
We may store:
- Encrypted message content
- Conversation and participant records
- Message timestamps
- Delivery and read status
- Conversation state
- Message-key records
- Presence or typing state
- Block and message-privacy settings
- Abuse-prevention and security records
Encryption of message text does not necessarily conceal all message metadata, such as who participated in a conversation or when messages were sent.
During beta, do not use Sayspoke private messages for highly sensitive, emergency, financial, medical, legal, or confidential information. Encryption and key-management systems may continue to change as the product develops.
7. Location and place information
Sayspoke may let you add, search, display, or use location-related information for normal profiles, Finds creator profiles, Moments, Finds, Communities, or local discovery.
This may include:
- Location text you enter
- Place names
- City, region, or country
- Map and place-search results
- Approximate device or network location
- Location metadata connected to content you submit
- Local-discovery settings for creator profiles
We may use location-related information to support:
- Local Find discovery
- Maps and place features
- Content context
- Search and recommendations
- Community features
- Safety review
- Fraud and abuse prevention
Do not add a precise location to content unless you are comfortable with eligible viewers seeing it under the applicable relationship, publication, or Community rules.
8. Video, media, and content processing
Sayspoke may process uploaded media to provide the service. This may include:
- Uploading and storing media files
- Creating thumbnails, previews, and processed video versions
- Reading file and media metadata
- Measuring file size, format, duration, and processing status
- Running video-processing jobs
- Diagnosing failed uploads or playback issues
- Reviewing media connected to reports, safety concerns, intellectual-property complaints, or abuse prevention
Sayspoke may use automated or model-assisted tools to:
- Categorize content
- Suggest, evaluate, or organize Backing Tags
- Identify media or content type
- Improve public Find recommendations
- Detect possible spam, abuse, or policy violations
- Assist human moderation
- Improve product quality
Automated tools may be inaccurate. They are not intended to replace human review where human judgment is appropriate.
9. Analytics and operational measurement
